Compromise refers to an agreement reached by mutual concessions with both parties giving in to the other's demands. To reach a compromise, the two parties have to accommodate each other's needs to the extent of giving up some of their own priorities.
Compromises are difficult because sacrifices have to be made. However, when compromises are made, both parties will benefit from them. Compromises prevent clashes and fights, instead it settle the problem fairly as both parties have to make some sacrifices to come into this agreement. Compromise is like taking a step back to solve the problem. Intead of arguing, both parties will work together to solve the problem.
Arguments do not solve problems, but compromises do. Arguments just retard the progress of your commitments, compromises whereas will solve the problem in the shotest time possible. Compromises also shows the other party that you cared for them and will like both parties to be able to benefit in the situation. Therefore, compromises are essential for progress and foster good relationships between people.
